Bihar Education Initiative
Fulkaha Village
Supual district is one of the poorest districts in the state of Bihar, where the average literacy rate is low. Parents work as daily laborers and don’t understand the value of education. Quality and access to education is the major concern in rural schools as there are fewer committed teachers. Inspireup started the education initiative with 20 kids and little over a year class strength has increased to 90. We are working on ensuring that the children attending school are learning and mastering crucial subjects, particularly math, science, reading, and writing.
