Odisha Education Initiative

Makhi Village

Makhi village project is located in Jagatsinghpur district, in the state of Odisha. Tribals live under extreme poverty and do not have means to send their children to school. Education is one of the most powerful means of bringing about socio-economic development among scheduled tribes and backward communities. At Inspireup we are focused on providing students the tools, resources, and opportunities to learn and succeed. We have 40 children mostly from tribal communities currently benefiting through our programs.

Sarasada Village

Sarasada village project is located in Bhadrak district, in the state of Odisha. Another tribal community project aimed at providing basic education to children. Tribal parents do not understand value of education and due to extreme poverty unable to afford education. At Inspireup we work with local schools and community volunteers to encourage children to attend school on regular basis. We provide learning materials, train hired teachers and provide incentives to motivate children to engage in learning process. We have close to 12 children mostly from tribal community participating and benefiting through our programs.
