Suvendu Samal has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Anna University and is an IT professional having 20 plus years of experience. He is currently working in the finance industry for a leading brokerage, banking and financial company and lives with his family in Denver, Colorado. His participation into social services started with Orissa Scouts by involving and organizing cleanups in various marginalized communities, building makeshift schools, creating academic curriculum and teaching underprivileged kids in the local communities. At present with the help of local Odia community, he organizes food drives for StandUp For Kids a non profit organization helping homesless and street kids every year. He strongly believes every child deserves access to quality education which is essential to build an equitable society for all. His inspiration the great Nelson Mandela has rightly said that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
Pradeep Rout has a degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and he is an IT professional having 20 plus years of experience, especially in the area of data warehousing. He is primarily involved in finance industry and currently working for a leading Bank in New York City, USA. For last several years, he is actively engaged in multiple organizations like FIRST (https://www.firstinspires.org), 4-H (https://4-h.org), and World Maker movement (https://makermedia.com) with the intention of spreading of STEM education and innovation culture among young kids of all background. He strongly believes that a movement, which incorporates the core concepts and ideas of all these three organizations, is needed in India and other countries, to truly empower the underprivileged and under served kids and foster creativity and innovation into our education culture that truely unlocks potential in our kids. He sincerely believes working collaboratively can achieve our shared vision at inspire. He is living with his family in Edison, New Jersey.
Tapasi has a Bachelors Degree in Physics from BJB College and Masters in Computer Application. She believes there is something extremely gratifying about imparting information to your students and working with them to ensure they understand, not only concepts, but practical applications as well. Teaching is her passion and she seek to inspire and encourage her students to strive for greatness, and teaches them through experience and commitment how to realize their full potential to become the best they can be. Apart from teaching she loves to travel, read, cook and passionate about gardening. So often, we hear people say that they were inspired to pursue their careers because of their teachers. Meghali is a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh and has worked in the IT sector in various organizations in India (NIC, Wipro) ,USA (IBM/LUCENT/UPENN/MOL/GS/Dow Jones/CVS/ETCC/Solera). She is currently employed with Solera in West Lake Texas in the Big Data and Data Analytics domain. She is actively involved with an organization called ‘Sarothi’ in Assam that helps orphans and children with disabilities. She also volunteers her time for Community Service Projects like FMSC(Feed my starving children), NTFB (North Texas food bank) and visiting old age homes. She hopes to do some charity work for people in old age homes in her home state of Assam as well as for families of fallen soldiers who make the supreme sacrifice for the nation but get so easily forgotten. On the social front, she is very involved with the close-knit and vibrant Dallas Oriya Community and participates in the various community events. She believes together we can achieve more and make a difference. She resides with her family in Plano, Texas.
Suman has a master’s Degree in computer science from Anna University, Chennai and over 18 years of telecommunication networking Industry experience. He is currently working at Cisco systems India. He also volunteers with Akhil Vishva Gayatri Pariwar, a global organization working towards individual development, Family development and social upliftment guided by principles of human unity and equality. Suman and his group of friends are actively involved in community work across three villages in Bihar, mostly focused on education for underprivileged kids. and tree plantation effort mobilizing local community support. He is passionate about use of technology in education, holistic health and environment protection. He believes change does not happen without active participation from local communities.
Surekha has a bachelor’s degree in Science and works as a freelancer. Currently she lives with her family in Bangalore. Living in a gathered society she has always been charitable in initiating programs for the children across poor communities. She with her group of friends initiated their education program to help children and people living in old age homes in Bangalore. She strongly believes only way to address these social issues is by providing quality education to children. When we educate children across needy communities across our society, they gain knowledge, confidence, and ultimately grow up to lead healthier, more productive lives and contribute towards nations growth.
Ranjan has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Madras. Currently working at Intel Corporation for past 10 years in Bangalore. Ranjan has been actively involved in charitable activity in Bangalore and his local community in Odisha for past 15 years. Education and poverty are inextricably linked in our society, improving quality of our education can empower those who are left behind. Ranjan strongly believes we need to bring motivated professionals into a platform like InspireUp, to work with the underprivileged section of our society with empathy and compassion to make significant impact on people’s lives. Rashmi has an MBA, Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering, and also completed FIE in computer Engineering. Rashmi is Currently working at IBM Bangalore for past 20 years. Rashmi was President, founding director, and first Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) of Rotary Bangalore Palmville (RBP)(RI Club Number: 85225). RBP is a Rotary Club under Rotary District 3190 which was formally chartered in the summer of year 2012 and it comprises of dedicated volunteers who believe in the concept of “Yathartha Seva” (genuine selfless service) and who donate their time, engage actively in community events, and talent to make a positive contribution for the upliftment of society. He believes to make real impact on peoples life we at Inspireup need to work in a collaborative way. He lives in Bangalore with his family.
Manoj is Chartered Accountant with a M.Phill & Master Degree in commerce from Ravenshaw college, Odisha with 22 years’ of Industry experience. He is currently working as CFO at Percept Limited, an Entertainment, Media and Communication company in Mumbai and sits on the Board of Percept Media. Manoj was also Ex- Vice President of ASHRA, a volunteer organisation in Mumbai, for the purpose of providing three R’s (i.e Rescue, Relief & Rehabilitation). ASHRA conducts various activities such as Health check-up camp, Eye check-up, Cancer detection programme, Aids awareness programme, at Relief & Rehabilitation camps. Manoj is actively involved in charity work in Rural communities in PURI, Odisha, mostly focused on education & health for Under privileged kids. Manoj lives in Mumbai with his family.
